Misuse of words
One of my first cold calls I ever had was a very bad experience. I had planned out all my questions and was ready for the call. I called and when the lady answered the phone I said "Good day sir, I would like to schedule and interview with..." I waited for a response and then looked at the phone. She had hung up on me after I said good day sir.
