I want to meet someone who is really passionate about what they do. I want to know why they chose it, what influenced them and how they got there. I'm hoping that in unraveling their life story that I will be able to weave mine.

After the interview with Ellen Lee my mind was blown. She loved art from an early age, and spent her childhood making good use of her creativity. When Ellen graduated high-school, she went on to college become an opera singer. After she was married and had children, Ellen made jewelry and children's clothes for her friend's small boutique. As her life evolved, Ellen began to repair costumes for theatres and, eventually, worked on Broadway productions. One thing led to another, and Ellen found herself in the TV and movie business, creating and repairing costumes as needed.
Now Ellen works on her sculptures. She integrates all of the different abilities she gained from her past into beautiful art. Ellen taught me that I don't have to be passionate about just one thing, I can start off doing something I'm passionate about, and then end up doing something completely different that I love equally as much. Nothing is set in stone, and just because I choose something now does not mean that I have to do it for the rest of my life.
