Cameron Cobb

People are constantly on the move. Through this project i want to achieve a few personal goals. I want to clearly see a few paths successful businessmen took in their lives. I want to discover how they define their success. I want to be able to have a general idea of how i want to achieve my future goals. But most of all i want to build relationships that can go farther than roadtrip itself.

What I want to know from Mr. Staggers and Mr. Tomlinson

One of my role models all through life has been the president of bancorpsouth here in Starkville Buddy Staggers. He is someone that has always been there for me through any situation. He is someone who has a moral compass, who is a family man, who is educated, who is hardworking. I want to know how he got to where he is. How did he make the decisions to become such a good person. How did he venture into the world of banking. How did he end up in Starkville MS? Does he think the times are different today in that his path would have worked now? and if so how does he think this project could help me to find my path.

On the same note I want to hear a different perspective from Mr. Tomlinson. Having not known him quite as long I feel that his story could take me anywhere. I know from being a member of the Starkville community that he is considered extrememly successful. I want to know what his own success is. Especially since he just now made a career change and is opening a brand new bank in Starkville. I want to know how he found the courage to make that decision and to what ends he plans for his new venture to see. I want to be able to understand his decision making in the hope that i to can be as courageous and adventuresome as him one day.
