My Manifesto

My Manifesto

I want to be able to depend on myself. I want to be the independent smart women I was raised to be. To turn the dream of living in Austin with a great house with a great job to a reality. To tell my dad that I did it and pushed through his doubts. To understand that you can't always move mountains to be where you desire to be, but you can try.

Leader Interview

Leader photo 1

Dr. Daniel Earl

Veterinarian

My leader is the owner of Affordable Pet Care, but works with animals as well.

What type of route did this leader take?

  • It was straightforward

    "It was straightforward."

  • It was windy

"It took a while to figure out."

  • It was circuitous

    "I tried everything."

Leader's Work Life

An average day for my leader is getting up at 5am, being at his place of work by 7am and start off with a huddle with his co-workers. He does surgeries from about 8am-11am.

Leader's Noise

Some of The Noise my leader heard along his road was not knowing if he'd get into veterinarian school as they only accept about a 100 out of 600 students.

Advice from my Leader

My leaders advice was everyday is a struggle, what matters is how you overcome it.

My Cold-Calls

My Cold-Calls

The most important thing I learned from making my cold calls is to be prepared and expect anything. Most likely, the first person you call isn't going to be the one and that's okay. Because the feeling you get when you find the one you are going to interview is great.

Before and After

…

Before my Leader Interview i thought that everyone knows what they wanna do in the future but now I realize sometimes people don't know until later in life. My leader didn't know he wanted to become a veterinarian until grad school.
