I mashed up my Interests to direct me down my own road. Take the Roadmap quiz for yourself!
Being Physically Acive
Environment & Nature
Starting off I had no idea what road I'd want to take and what I wanted to do. Although I'm not solid on a career I have a couple in mind and this experience was truly helpful. The biggest thing is to do something you like and you wouldn't mind being stuck in for a while. I've never had anyone tell me I couldn't accomplish goals I set, instead to believe in myself and know what I'm capable of doing. You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish by stepping out of your comfort zone once in a while. You know yourself more than anyone so do what makes you happy and go above and beyond with it in the future.
He helps people who don't have an arm or leg to use a prosthesis and learn how to use it.
What type of route did this leader take?
"It was straightforward."
"It took a while to figure out."
"I tried everything."
Leader's Work Life
People come in after they've booked an appointment and then he starts with there therapy to help them strengthen there muscles to be ready to function again.
At first, he started off trying mechanical engineer but noticed it really wasn't for him, and instead followed his family tradition with working with the prosthesis.
Advice from my Leader
Really follow what you like to do and something you're passionate about.
You have to know what your gonna say and be polite when doing it. Don't be nervous to do it and let your phone call flow with the conversation.
Before and After
Before my leader interview I thought I wasn't going to want to do this career but now I realize that what he does is something very interesting that I might want to look into in the future.
