well i need to fear less in life and that i need to not listen to the noise of my peers and even others that gave me advice. i need to make sure fear that control my destiny and my choices to better my self in the career path i choose.

Leader Interview

Mario Balderas

Accountant/ Business owner

Well Mario is an account and he is does taxes for people, and for his business he sells trikes. for his accounting business mainly Hispanics go and do their taxes with them, he is bilingual and his accounting business is booming. he also helpes business with their taxes.

What type of route did this leader take?

Leader's Work Life

Well, the average day for him is that he wakes up early and go to his trike shop called freedom rides, and checks on the business. he stays there for a while and then go to his other business where he helps with taxes, when its tax season. if its not tax season he focuses on his trike business. he fixes bikes and gets the bikes ready to sell for customers that are interested to buy a trike.

Leader's Noise

Some of the noise the leader faces is that a couple of times when he started new business he had failed, he was told to stick with accounting. other noise he heard were that he shouldn't start another business, he was failing most of the time. Mario didn't listen and he was very ambitiousness and never gave up to his dream of owning a trike shop.

Advice from my Leader

Some advice mario gave me is that i should not listen to the noise and pick a career that you are passionate about and that you will love to do. he also told me that i should never be late and that i should show up on time, it looks professional when you show up on time. Other advice he told me is that i should follow my heart and follow the career path that i love.

i was supper nervous about making a cold call, ive learned that in making a cold call you will get rejected but thats okay, i will keep trying to get in contact with them. i was defiantly nerve racking and quite an experience.

Before and After


Before i conducted i thought that with choosing a career and knowing what to do in life is choosing the career people may think that you may be good at. I now know that i have to found a career that i would love to go to work and enjoy it, and not think about how many more hours till i get to go home.
