Being Physically Acive
Environment & Nature
This is my life. I need to do what I love, and do it often. If I don't like something, I am determined to change it. Remember that life is simple, so stop over analyzing. Travel often; I hope to collect experiences that I can cherish for a lifetime. Getting lost sometimes will help me find myself. Opportunities only come once, so seize them. Share your passions. Continue to dream!

Leader's Work Life
The average day for Eric Mendell involves working with the general public, employees, and different designers to distribute, promote, and design the best products for Kerns Fine Jewelry. His days tend to be busy, with continuous meetings and various interactions that keep him on his toes.
Because Eric Mendell's family was already involved in the development of Kerns Fine Jewelry, Mendell was highly encouraged to pursue this career at a young age. Mendell had several different passions, but he got a head start with his career in college, where he studied Gemology because of the influence from his parents.
Advice from my Leader
Eric Mendell reminded me that it is important to make yourself and other people happy, something that is very rewarding. He expressed that his motto is "Let's get things done, while having fun," a valuable phrase to live by because it is very motivating.
I learned that it is important to suppress your fear when making a Cold-Call. In fact, Cold-Calling is something you should be excited about because it gives you the opportunity to open new doors that can lead potential pathways of success. Even though Cold-Calling can be intimidating, it is better to try rather than to not try at all. What do you have to lose?
