My Manifesto

My Manifesto

Shedding the noise is very important to each and every one of us. I will shed this noise by following and trusting in God and his guidance, as well as staying focused. Following God's will, getting my work done, spending time with my family, and playing computer are the most important things for at this point in my life. I want to become the greatest marine biologist, and, if possible, a great you-tuber as well by staying diligent in my work.

Leader Interview

Maureen Driscoll, Ph.D

Research Scientist

Maureen researches Diseases and pathogens present in marine ecosystems and how they affect the marine live, and the reasons behind the declining population of certain marine species.

What type of route did this leader take?

  • It was straightforward

    "It was straightforward."

  • It was windy

"It took a while to figure out."

  • It was circuitous

    "I tried everything."

Leader's Work Life

For Maureen, days are either really full or do not possess much work at all. Much of her days are used researching blood/skin/blowhole samples and testing them for bacterial presence.

Leader's Noise

My leader originally wanted to become a doctor and go to medical school, and then she realized what she really loved doing was helping marine animals.

Advice from my Leader

Expose yourself to as many extracurricular activities pertaining to your interests as possible, even if said activities are not in any of the courses you are currently taking.

My Cold-Calls
